TAM Executive Leaders (TAMEL) Affinity Group Welcomes Liz Jackson as Chair

We are thrilled to announce that Liz Jackson, President and CEO of the Briscoe Western Art Museum, is stepping into the role of Chair for the TAM Executive Leaders (TAMEL) Affinity Group! 

A native Texan, Liz has over 25 years of experience in the museum and nonprofit sectors. Her journey began in San Antonio and took her to Alpine, Texas, where she served as the Executive Director of the Museum of the Big Bend. She also held the role of Director of Advancement at Sul Ross State University before returning to San Antonio to join the Briscoe as Vice President in 2017. Liz's leadership at the Briscoe has been nothing short of transformative, overseeing the museum's growth, visitor experience, community engagement efforts, and more.

We look forward to Liz’s guidance and fresh perspective. We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Karen Stevenson, our outgoing Chair, for her exceptional leadership over the past year. Karen’s dedication and efforts have been instrumental in guiding TAMEL through a year of growth and fruitful networking.
