Position Overview

The showroom Coordinator/Registrar is usually the client’s first contact with the company; answering calls, greeting clients, and responding to emails. The Showroom Coordinator/Registrar develops client relationships by giving excellent customer service and representing the company in a way that is professional and welcoming. The person in this position is responsible for scheduling consultations, sending notifications, documenting artworks, logging incoming and outgoing artworks and processing payments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with care and handling of various art mediums

• Use of Word, Excel and point of sale programs

• Telephone systems skills

• Courteous and professional customer service manner

• Excellent communication ability

• Exhibit high standards of perfection in work

• Organized and detail conscious

• Ability to stand while working, bend, climb ladder and lift up to 50lbs

• Prefer applicant to have a BA in Studio Art or Art History

Compensation

            Commensurate with experience + benefits ($18 - $23 per hour)
