Job Posting
Duties include assisting with the development of a robust and successful grant and donor program; researching, identifying, and soliciting corporate, foundation and government grants; utilizing clear, structured and persuasive writing and a detail-oriented approach when producing grant proposals to advance the City’s cultural attractions, museum system and historic sites; and maintaining a list of institutional credit lines and ensuring appropriate acknowledgement requirements are met. Duties also include providing revenue and expenditure data; assisting with funding estimations for annual budgets; and helping staff develop grant project budgets. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study; two years of institutional fundraising and grant writing experience; including prior experience working with institutional donors required. Proficiency with current word processing, presentation, spreadsheet and database programs, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe DC essential. A résumé must be submitted with application.
PAY GRADE GG17 / FULL PAY RANGE $23.50 - $33.14 PER HOUR

· Employees that successfully complete one year of employment without documented attendance or disciplinary issues will receive an additional one-time payment of $500.
· The maximum amount of hiring incentive that an individual employee may receive is $1,500.
