Announcement For:
Full-time Museum Executive Director Position
The Border Patrol Museum represents the rich heritage and traditions of the United States Border Patrol. Founded in 1985, as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the Museum contains a unique collection of Border Patrol historical documents, memorabilia, and vehicular displays.
Our archive department is widely recognized by researchers, authors, and others interested in the history of the Border Patrol and its involvement in enforcing our nations’ immigration law since the Border Patrol’s founding in 1924. A Federal law enacted by Congress allows the Border Patrol to donate documents, memorabilia, vehicles, and provide technical expertise to the Museum.
The Museum does not receive Federal funding, but relies on income from memberships, visitor donations, member and private donations, gift shop sales, and other funding activities sponsored by the Museum.
