History and Fate: The Goodwins and the 1960s
Join Dr. Sarah Sonner, Associate Director for Curation at the Briscoe Center for American History, for a private guided tour of History and Fate: The Goodwins and the 1960s, an exhibition that presents the events and pivotal figures of the decade through the papers of Doris Kearns Goodwin and Richard N. Goodwin. The exhibition traces the entwining stories of the Goodwins' relationship, their proximity to power, and reflections on a tumultuous era seen in its most intimate moments. On the tour, Dr. Sonner will also talk about working with archival materials and the role Dr. Goodwin played in the creation of the exhibition.
