Black Austin History Tour with Visit Austin
Join celebrated tour guide and native Austinite Harrison Eppright on an exploration of Black Austin history from the city's founding up through school desegregation in the 1970s. The tour will visit important sites of Black Austin history in Central Austin and then explore the East Side, where the Black community consolidated in the twentieth century.
Optional: Pay your own way lunch at Hoover’s after the tour. Further info will be sent to registrants.
