Welcoming New Leadership: TAM Council Updates for 2025
With the Texas Association of Museums’ 50th Anniversary Conference just around the corner, we are excited to announce new leadership changes that will help guide TAM into this milestone year and beyond.
Following a majority member slate vote, our new TAM Council slate officially took effect on March 1, ushering in fresh perspectives and continued dedication to the Texas museum community.
New Leadership & Transitions
Dr. Michelle Everidge - TAM President
We are thrilled to welcome Michelle Everidge, CEO of the Witte Museum in San Antonio, as our new TAM President! Michelle brings a wealth of experience in museum leadership, community engagement, and institutional growth. Her passion for advancing museums in Texas makes her a fantastic leader as we continue to bridge the past and future in this anniversary year.
Ann Fortescue - Past President
After a transformational term as TAM President, Ann Fortescue (International Museum of Art and Science) will continue to offer invaluable guidance as Past President. Ann played a pivotal role in strengthening TAM’s foundation—leading the charge in strategic planning, restructuring operations for greater efficiency and capacity, and fostering strategic and impactful partnerships that have expanded TAM’s reach across the country. We’re incredibly grateful for her leadership and excited to have her continued support in this new role.
Rebecca Tucker Nall - Secretary
We are also pleased to welcome Rebecca Tucker Nall to the Executive Committee as Secretary. As Assistant Director of Exhibits, Communication, and Visitor Services at the Mayborn Museum, Rebecca brings extensive expertise and a solutions-oriented approach to the Council. With her experience and skill set, there is not much she cannot do, and we are excited to have her in this role.
Daniel Carey Whalen - Development Director
We’re also pleased to welcome Daniel Carey Whalen as TAM’s new Development Director. With TAM launching an exciting campaign and programming for our 50th anniversary, Daniel’s expertise will be instrumental in growing our funding opportunities and member support during this landmark year.
Executive Committee Continuity
The other Executive Committee members will remain in their current roles for this term's Council positions, ensuring continuity and stability in TAM's leadership.
New Council Members: Betsy Eudy & Tiffany Jehorek
Joining the TAM Council this year are Betsy Eudy (National Medal of Honor Museum) and Tiffany Jehorek (Longview Museum of Fine Art). Their experience and dedication to Texas museums will bring fresh energy to the Council.
Betsy Eudy
In March 2023, Betsy joined the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation as the CFO. The Foundation is in the fundraising and construction phase of a $275 million campaign, with the museum set to open March 25, 2025, in Arlington, TX. Prior to this role, Betsy spent 15 years at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and four years at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
Betsy earned a B.S. in Accounting from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. A committed volunteer, she received a Texas State PTA "Lifetime Member" award for her work with Mansfield ISD, where she now serves on the board of the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation. One of her proudest personal accomplishments is completing five Susan G. Komen 60-mile 3-Day walks. Betsy and her husband, Joe, live in Arlington, TX.
Tiffany Jehorek
With over 25 years in the museum field, Tiffany Nolan Jehorek has worn many hats, including volunteer, board president, marketing director, and currently Executive Director and Curator of Exhibitions for the Longview Museum of Fine Arts (LMFA). Now in her eighth year at LMFA, she leads collections, exhibitions, fundraising, and programming. She is also spearheading the museum's move into a newly renovated 54,000-square-foot historic bank building in downtown Longview.
A Beaumont, Texas native, Tiffany pursued her passion for art early on, attending a summer program at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She later earned a B.S. in Radio/Television/Film with minors in Art and Business from Texas Christian University.
Tiffany enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. She has two daughters, Daisy, 25, and Hope, 23. In January 2024, she became a proud grandmother to Luke Shepherd Warner, lovingly taking on the nickname "Go Go".
Deeply engaged in her community, Tiffany serves as Past President of the REEL East Texas Film Festival Board, an Advisor to Longview’s Downtown Main Street Board, a Leadership Longview graduate, and a member of Longview 20/20. She also attends The Church at Lake Cherokee.
