Museum Studies Lecturer | Medford, MA
Job Description: The Tufts University Museum Studies program invites applications for a full-time lecturer who will serve as program director beginning September 2025. The successful applicant will teach graduate courses in museum operations, education, and interpretation, advise students, and supervise part-time museum studies faculty. Other responsibilities include guiding program planning, participating in program recruitment, and building relationships with academic departments and outside organizations.
Pay: $64,000 (negotiable)

Applicants should have a master’s degree (minimum) or a doctoral degree (preferred) in a discipline that supports museum work or a degree in museology or non-profit administration. Past museum work and higher education teaching experience is required.
