TAM 2023 Tour: San Antonio Missions

San Antonio Missions Tour

Tour bus leaves from the Witte Museum and returns to the TAM host hotel the Hilton Palacio del Rio. 

Join San Antonio Missions National Historical Park's, Chief of Interpretation and Education, PT Lathrop, for an immersive experience in the only national park in San Antonio. PT will join us on the bus as we travel from the Witte to the park. Making brief stops at Mission Concepcion and the historic Espada aqueduct, PT will then take us on a short walking tour of Mission San Juan to see the historic landscape of acequias, labores, and a mission compound. San Antonio Mission National Historical is currently in the middle of a multi-year project of re-desigining the museum space at Mission San Juan. Gain insights into the world of federal museum design and process and maybe inspire future content along the way!
