Professional Bio
From her early years as a museum educator and now as a director, Ann enthusiastically builds teams that strive to make the museum a place for everyone. Connecting museums with their communities has been at the forefront of her work in museums. She joined the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) in July 2019 as Executive Director with over 35 years of practice in history, art, and science museums. She brings a range of service to the field including as an American Alliance of Museums (AAM) Accreditation Commissioner from 2015-2018, Museum Assessment Program peer reviewer since 2005, and as a past board member for the Ohio Citizens for the Arts, Mid-Atlantic Museums Association, and AAM EdCom. Ann currently serves as Council President for the Texas Association of Museums.
