TAM 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting Call for Proposals!

April 13-16, 2020 | Bryan-College Station, TX

Session proposals are due by June 20, 2019!

Planning for the fiftieth anniversary of the annual meeting is currently underway! This premier three-day conference offers a growing audience of museum professionals the chance to learn from authorities in the field who hail from around Texas and across the country. We are currently searching for high-quality sessions and speakers to present at the event. Every session and workshop presented at the TAM Annual Meeting comes from a proposal submitted by our members.

We are especially seeking ideas within the following functional areas: Administration (A), Collections Management (C), Education (E), Exhibitions (EX), External Relations (R), and Leadership Management (L).

Proposals will be reviewed by the TAM program committee and selected based on their strength and relevance to the field. Sessions that include panelists from several museums and provide a variety of viewpoints are preferred. Panelists from outside the museum field who are relevant to the proposed topic are encouraged, but not required (i.e., an executive from a for-profit marketing company in a session on museum marketing).
