In this episode, we sat down with a TAM member to discuss the projects and ideas they are working on now and into the future. TAM's executive director Alex Freeman connects with Joy Simpson, Associate – Business Insurance, at Higginbotham a TAM Business Member. In the following recording, we get to learn more about Simpson and how her work intersects with the greater museum community. 

About Joy Simpson

Joy has been with Higginbotham since 2007, working heavily with fine arts, museums, galleries, and non-profits. She benefits from the technical expertise of spending her first 8 years at Higginbotham in a role where she gained in-depth knowledge of coverage and negotiated directly with insurance carriers. Joy's specialization in art-related industries, stems from her education in fine arts. Joy graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree and earned her Masters of Fine Arts from Texas Woman's University in 2017. She earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2011.
