Here’s a sneak peek at the sessions we have planned for the 2018 TAM Annual Meeting in Houston.  Please note, this is a DRAFT – all times and content are subject to change.

 

All events take place at the Hyatt Regency Houston hotel unless otherwise noted.

Wednesday, April 18

  • 11:00 am - 5:00 pm - Registration Open
  • 12:30-4:30 pm - Pre-Conference Workshops
    • One-on-One Resume Reviews (pre-registration required)
    • Human Resource Management in Support of Healthier Museums (pre-registration and additional fee required)
    • Teacher In-service Strategies: Offering Professional Development Through Your Museum (pre-registration and additional fee required)
    • Monumental to the Miniscule: Packing and Crating Workshop (pre-registration and additional fee required)
      • Hosted off-site at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (no transportation provided)
  • 2:00-4:00 pm - Walking Tour of Downtown Houston (pre-registration and additional fee required).  Hosted by Architecture Center Houston (ArCH), this downtown walking tour will explore the architecture, design, history and public art of Houston's urban landscape. This two hour tour is led by an enthusiastic ArCH trained docent. Please wear comfortable walking shoes!
